Second Skin Back Splints provide a comfortable and dynamic form of support for some adults with chronic back pain.

These splints are designed to provide dynamic back support whilst simultaneously allowing active movement by using an all-in-one design which incorporates the pelvis and is anchored at the shoulders. These splints are custom made to individual design requirements. Support is included where it is most needed, and optimal comfort is ensured. In collaboration with the referring medical and therapy team, Second Skin has provided back splints for adults with osteoarthritis, osteoporosis with associated stress fractures, multiple myeloma and post surgical management.

Back Supports may be prescribed to assist with chronic pain management, improve standing and walking tolerance, increase endurance and assist with return to work programmes.
