| How do I wash my Second Skin Pressure garment? |
For garments to perform at their best they must be treated with care. They should be washed by hand in warm water using a mild, non abrasive detergent e.g. Lux Flakes. Rinse garment well and gently towel dry. Dry garment away from direct sunlight. Alternatively, garments can be washed in a front loader washing machine if first placed in a pillow slip or lingerie bag and washed on Gentle cycle only.

| How often do garments need to be replaced? |
| It is dependent upon reason for garment use and what you are doing while wearing your garments. In the acute stages of injury your garments will need to be replaced more often. |
| I have eczema, is that a problem? |
Your pressure garment can be customised to include a soft fabric that can reduce inflammation of skin conditions such as eczema.

| If I have a colostomy, tracheostomy or gastrostomy is that a problem? |
All the garments are custom made to fit each client and designed to accommodate all medical needs.

| How hot is it to wear garments? |
In the warmer weather, we can suggest practical ways to reduce heat in your garment, such as staying indoors in the warmer parts of the day.

| Do I need a new garment if my swelling goes up or down? |
| Your garment can be altered within 6 months of manufacture. One retension within the first six weeks is included in the cost of the garment. Subsequent alterations can be made but these do incur a charge. |
