We’d like to welcome our new physiotherapist Claire Farley to the team. Claire will be based at our London Clinic, as well as other UK and Ireland satellite clinics.
Claire moved to Second Skin from a private children’s physiotherapy clinic, based just outside London. She has experience working within the NHS and private setting, treating both adults and children in the community.
Claire has a keen interest in neurological physiotherapy and is always on the look out for new courses to expand her knowledge further. She finds the most rewarding part of her job is working closely with clients to help them achieve their goals and help enhance their independence.
When asked how she likes to spend her free time, she said – “I enjoy being outdoors so you’ll often find me walking my dogs, horse riding or running in the forest. I also love a good coffee shop and catching up with friends!”
We would also like to welcome our new therapy assistant Danielle Dobson who will be part of our UK team based at our northeast clinics, as well as other UK sites.
Danielle has almost 10 years’ experience working with children, young people and adults with disabilities and associated difficulties. She spent 8 years at the Percy Hadley Foundation as a teaching assistant and residential childcare officer, where she met some amazing families and provided tailored education and life skills to children and young people.
Danielle has always been passionate about working with children, young people, adults and their families with disabilities due to having a sibling with autism. Danielle has an honours degree in health and social care, which has given her a broad understanding of different healthcare settings and allowed her to learn about various disabilities and learning difficulties. Danielle believes the most rewarding part of her job is being able to build positive relationships with clients and their families and be a part of their clinical goal setting.
Danielle likes to spend her free time having adventures with her son and puppy. She can often be found on the beautiful beaches around the northeast of England, as her son is currently obsessed with ‘the big sand pit’ and likes to take his diggers to dig big holes.
Welcome to the team guys!
